Responsibilities:
Brock Restoration Inc.
is looking for an Estimator who will:
prepare accurate estimates for insurance related reconstruction and remodel projects while gathering an accurate scope and applying a thorough construction knowledge.
The Estimator is responsible for maintaining great customer relationships along with ensuring project margins are on target.
Initial communication with the customer.
The estimator will create detailed sketches for the job requested.
Xactimate experience is a plus.
It is the estimator's responsibility to collect outstanding balances from the customer.
Collaborate with project managers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are run in a timely and profitable manner.
The estimator is responsible for entering all correspondence with the customer job progress, estimating progress, conversations related to the job, etc in the comments tab.
The comments tab gives anyone that views the job a picture of how the process is going.
It is especially important to update these as often as possible.
Build and maintain relationships with claims adjusters and sub-contractors.
The estimator is responsible for entering all correspondence with the customer, job progress, estimating progress, conversations related to the job, etc in the notes tab of our job running software.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices - Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documents - Excellent mathematical skills for accurate quantity take-offs and cost calculations - Attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders - Proficient in using computer software programs for estimating purposes (e.
g.
