We are a growing organization with proven ability to outsell our manufacturing / fabrication capacity in the thriving marketplace of package handling.
We have talent and experience in fabrication within the industries we serve and are in search of a motivated self-efficient individual to join our team as an Estimator.

The hours are Monday - Friday based on company/departmental needs.
JOB
Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for processing sales orders and delivering estimating quotes.
Job Duties:
Processes purchase orders and delivering completed quotes within the established deadlines that maintain accurate, up-to-date material pricing - utilizing gross profit worksheet and other methods.
Working with purchasing department to ensure the ability to secure material and pricing per the quote.
Working with Engineering and Sales to create a BOM list for all RFQ parts.
Champions a continuous improvement mindset, driving process improvements with adjacent departments to streamline cross departmental efficiencies and communications.
Continuously evaluates departmental tools, (including new technology and software), procedures and resources against the current workload and requirements to continue to improve accuracy.
Development of SOP's and contributing to maintaining an accurate process map for the estimating department's workflow.
Works with high attention to detail, entering information accurately when processing orders, verifying accuracy of information on quote letter for customer.
Nesting all work orders to ensure material usage is accurate.
Fosters open and engaging communication within all departments throughout the organization.
Attend cross-functional meetings addressing open business matters, performances and looks for improvement responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements:
1-3 years of estimating/costing experience, 5 years preferred Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, production in sheet metal industry High school diploma with industry experience required.
Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/TEAMS, ERP systems, CRM, highly preferred.
Must be an approachable, hands-on servant leader, who behaves with a growth mindset for self and team.
